Of course, every family budget varies and some families will earn much more while others will earn less.

 

What if you had friends or family members who became donors and contributed their earnings to your family’s TRIP account?  Suddenly, the $414 your family earned becomes $828 with one donor, $1242 with two donors, $1656 with three donors, and so on! 

 

How do I place an order?:

1.      Orders are placed each Tuesday.  Place your order on-line or by submitting a paper order form indicating which products you want.  Your check for the total amount (made payable to CMCS T.R.I.P.) is enclosed in an order envelope, along with your completed order form, and brought to the order drop box in either of the school offices.  If you have never placed a T.R.I.P. order before, send your order in an envelope from home.  When your order is filled, you will receive an envelope from T.R.I.P. for future orders.

*You will not need to send a check if you use the PrestoPay option with on-line orders.

2.     We process the orders and send them to a national scrip order center, and receive the cards usually within a week.  Orders are ready to be picked up the following Wednesday. 

3.     Once you have your gift cards, they can be used just like cash at participating merchants. 

How do I get started?

It’s easy.  Either complete a registration form (available in the office or through the coordinator) or contact the coordinator and ask to register on-line.  This provides us with the information that we need to enter in our database.  We also ask you to pay an annual registration fee of $5.00 to help us pay for the costs of envelopes, copies, shipping and other administrative costs.  This fee is waved for those registering as donors.  Drop off any paper registration forms and the $5 fee at the school offices and you are ready to order.  Once you register, you will receive a letter with your on-line login information and additional information about www.shopwithscrip.com and the CMCS TRIP policies.

How can you make money using T.R.I.P.?

You place an order for a gift card through CMCS T.R.I.P.

You pay the face value for the gift card.

CMCS T.R.I.P. submits your order to Great Lakes Scrip Center (GLScrip).

 

GLScrip orders large quantities of gift cards from suppliers.

The suppliers sell the gift cards to GLScrip at a reduced rate.

In return, GLScrip sells the gift card you ordered to CMCS T.R.I.P. at the reduced rate.

CMCS T.R.I.P. saves the difference between the card’s reduced rate and the face value that you paid.

(10% of the rebate goes to the CMCS TRIP program to cover administrative costs.)

·If you have a child in K-12 enrolled at CMCS, this money is applied to your tuition bill three times a year.

·If your child will be enrolled at CMCS in the future, this money is saved and will be applied to your first tuition bill after enrollment.

·If you are a donor, this money will be applied to the tuition bill of the family or future family of your choosing.
