Storyline: MATH- the HEARTBEAT of Creation
Deep Hope: My deep hope is that my students would see God as a God of order in creation including math and that He upholds the universe.
Favorite Bible Verse: Proverbs 3:5,6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
Storyline: Every voice, rejoice!
Deep Hope: Students will show love to all people and communicate well and appropriately because GOD created us for His glory!
Favorite Bible Verse: Lamentations 3:22,23 Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.
Storyline: Creation Enjoyer
Deep Hope: My Deep Hope is that each student will be able to evaluate the themes inside every story they read or watch in the context of God’s story of redemption.
Favorite Bible Verse: “May the Lord bless his land
with the precious dew from heaven above
and with the deep waters that lie below;
14 with the best the sun brings forth
and the finest the moon can yield;
15 with the choicest gifts of the ancient mountains
and the fruitfulness of the everlasting hills;

Storyline: Unveiling the deep
Deep Hope: My deep hope for my students is that they desire to do mathematics, not strictly to get the right answer, but to use the processes as a tool for developing their Christian character and thinking in order to live out God's calling to the fullest.
Favorite Bible Verse: Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:4-7
Deep Hope: My deep hope is that my students come to know that they have an important role in God's world and are part of a story that is grander than we can comprehend. I want to invite them into the story so they may experience the depth, height, and length of God's Grace and love and respond with a grateful and obedient heart.
Favorite Bible Verse: Zephaniah 3:17: " The Lord your God is with you, He is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing."
Storyline: Let the works of your hands reflect your creator
Deep Hope: I hope that students are able to relate to our Creator by seeing the beauty and intricacy in His work, creating something from nothing, and recognizing and respecting the effort and depth in ourselves and in each other’s art.
Favorite Bible Verse: Ecclesiastes 3:11
Storyline: Live God Loud!
Deep Hope: My deep hope is for you to find out more about your place in God's world through the characters and authors we explore, along with the writing that you do.
Favorite Bible Verse: Psalm 62:6 He alone is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken.
Storyline: OWLS - Only With the Lords Strength
Deep Hope: My deep hope is for my students to see God's glory and actively serve Him through our words and actions while recognizing everything is possible Only With the Lord's Strength.
Favorite Bible Verse: Philippians 4:13, I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.
Storyline: Matthew 16:19a I will give you the keys of the key of the kingdom of heaven. We are to bring the gospel to others using the "keys" of technology
Deep Hope: My deep hope is that our students will become good stewards of technology and will spread the light of Jesus to others.
Favorite Bible Verse: Jeremiah 9:23 and 24: We are not to boast in our wisdom, strength or riches, we are to boast in knowing the Lord, who exercises kindness, justice and righteousness on earth.
Deep Hope: My deep hope for the year is to invite you to STRIVE for the Lord in all the areas of your life; to grow socially, academically, and most of all spiritually, and to empower you to use your growth to glorify Him.
Favorite Verse: "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord and not for men." Colossians 3:23
Storyline: Letter on a Keyboard
Deep Hope: My Deep Hope is that I would like for my students to see that they are like a letter on a keyboard. Without their story and contributions to this world, the world wouldn’t be the same. It would be missing something important without them and their part in this story of life.
Favorite Bible Verse: Hebrews 11:1,6 Now Faith is being sure of what we hope for...
Storyline: Creation Sings
Deep Hope: I really hope that my students will gratefully recognize and respond to God's beauty and majesty as it is portrayed in music, and that they will seek to serve others with their musical gifts.
Favorite Bible Verse: "Sing joyfully to the Lord, you righteous; it is fitting for the upright to praise him. Praise the Lord with the harp; make music to him on the ten-stringed lyre. Sing to him a new song; play skillfully, and shout for joy." Psalm 33:1-3
Storyline: "WONDERSTRUCK!"- "Many, LORD my God, are the wonders you have done, the things you planned for us. None can compare with you; were I to speak and tell of your deeds, they would be too many to declare!"
Deep Hope: My deep hope for my students is that they will TRUST God at His word, ENJOY and DWELL in God’s presence in all things and places, and LIVE OUT God’s love in real and tangible ways.
Favorite Bible Verse: Joshua 1:9 "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go!"
Storyline: Reflecting His Likeness
Deep Hope: My Deep Hope is that students will internalize that they are image bearers of
God, nurture what that means for how they act towards others and their own learning and empower them to act on that knowledge.
Favorite Bible Verse: When you pass through the waters I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers they will not sweep over you. (Isaiah 43:2) God has said " Never will I leave you, never will I forsake you. So we say with confidence "The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid."
