My American Heart is a rock band from San Diego, CA.  The band’s original name was No Way Out, and its members were Larry Soliman, Jesse Barrera, Clint Delgado Jeremy Mendez, and Steven Orio.  No Way Out gained much local fame from local SoCal venues they played at.  Because of some legal troubles they changed their name to My American Heart.  Although many of the members of the original band are Filipino, singer Larry Soliman says, “We’re all American”.  The band made their first big break winning The Ernie Ball Battle of the Bands.

The band played the Taste of Chaos tour in 2005 and recorded their first full-length album soon after.  The album was titled The Meaning in Makeup.

The band headlined the Ernie Ball stage on the entire Warped Tour in the summer of 2005, and followed with a late headlining tour sponsored by MySpace.  They also headlined their own independent tour with opening bands like Portugal, The Man, Lorene Drive and Action Action.
