Back to List of Cars 1960 Mercedes 190sl Roadster
These are Before and After pics of the 1960 MBZ 190SL Roadster. Roadster means it has both the hard top and the conv. Very important when you sell the car. The hard top alone is worth $2,500. Once again I bought this car out of a barn and this time only 18 degrees in Jan. But this is where you fine the bargins.
Tech info: The SL stands for super light. The hood, trunk and doors are all alluminum. Which was good because all four corners were rusted out. It is a four cyl. motor with dual Solex carbs., which is what they used for racing.
Horsepower 120, top speed 105, 0-60 13.0 secs. This is my all time favorite and has been since I saw my first one in 1957.
